Derin is an experienced operator with a wealth of practical knowledge and financial acumen. An MBA graduate from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business concentrating in entrepreneurship and analytic finance, prior to joining New Age Meats Derin operated two of his own mission-driven ventures in Chicago in food-and hearing-health since 2012. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Derin worked in hedge fund portfolio analysis at Grosvenor Capital Management for six years and also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and attended the University of Central Florida for a bachelor's degree in finance.
