Mario Chin, PhD

Dr. Mario P. S. Chin has a wealth of experience in cutting-edge applied medical research and development. He is a bioentrepreneur and an expert in medical genetics and cell biology. He was the Scientific Director of Amvet Biosciences, Associate Director of the Institute of Genomics at Huaqiao University, Professor in the Huaqiao University School of Biomedical Sciences, and an Advanced-Level Entrepreneurial and Innovative Talent of Fujian Province, China.

Dr. Chin has published numerous scientific papers on biomedical technology and its applications, and was the sole Principal Investigator of two National Institutes of Health Research Grants worth over USD 1 million. He also received multiple awards from the National Institutes of Health, the Comprehensive NeuroAIDS Center and the International AIDS Society for his innovations in science. He was invited to lecture at the University of Washington, Rockefeller University, City University of New York and several international scientific conferences. He served on the scientific and funding committees of the American Cancer Society and the University of Wisconsin, the scientific review committees of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the National Institutes of Health, and the mentoring committee of the International AIDS Society. He also served on the editorial and review boards of several international journals.
