Fiction Foods announced an update in its cellular agriculture pipeline, the commercial launch of its first egg alternative product expected later this year. This nutrient-rich “performance scramble” has 15% more protein than an egg, more probiotics than yogurt, more antioxidants than blueberries, and the list goes on. Fiction Foods is a portfolio company of CULT Food Science along with recent additions Umami Meats, Jellatech, and California Cultured.
