Is Cultivated Meat the New Standard in the Meat Industry?

Sector alignment around the preferred category name for meat produced through cellular agriculture points to “cultivated meat,” based on 2019 consumer research conducted by Mattson, North America’s most successful independent food and beverage innovation firm, and subsequent CEO poll conducted by The Good Food Institute in Sep 2021, finding increased support of the term by 75 percent of the 44 companies surveyed.
