Israeli company Wilk Technologies has recently been granted a U.S. patent for its procedures and technologies for cultivated animal and breast milk. Last year the company, then known as BioMilk, became the world’s first cell-based milk maker to go public and received $2 million from Coca-Cola Israel. They are currently working to develop large-scale and sustainable milk manufacturing. Other companies working to create cultivated milk include Singapore's TurtleTree Labs and North Carolina’s Biomilq.
